“Personal tailored services that help your business excel”

Background

A business built upon capacityconfidence and capability, Cube Precision Engineering is based in the West Midlands and supplies product to the AutomotiveAerospace/Defence and Commercial sectors. With a strong ethos of supporting both the local area and the UK as a whole, Cube uses local suppliers and staff to service the world’s leading engineering companies. 71% of all purchases made by the business are from within 40 miles of the West Midlands factory, their staff are recruited within 15 miles and the products they make are used worldwide.

The Challenge

When we started out as Cube Precision Engineering, we had just six employees. We had been approached by General Dynamics to go through the SC21 accreditation and this is when we met Leigh from LMR Global who guided us through the process. As part of that scope of work we quickly identified that the implementation of AS9100 Rev C was going to be the basis of our growth.

What did LMRG do?

LMRG  worked with our management team to create a quality management system that would be sustainable as the business grew. They took the time to understand our business processes, map them out and define the system that we needed. Leigh worked with us on the development and implementation of the system and then supported us as a consultant until we were able to appoint an internal resource to manage the system.

The outcome

By working with Leigh, we established a quality management system that was right for the business and grew with the business ad we quadrupled turnover in the first 3 years. On our first Audit we certified to AS9100 Rev C standard with minimal non-conformities which was a fantastic achievement and only possible due to the work with Leigh and his team.
