          Auditing a Quality Management System is a prime mechanism for identifying and developing improvement opportunities. The latest edition of the global standard for quality management systems is ISO 9001:2015.           During this highly practical and interactive 5 day certified course you will be guided step-by-step through the entire audit process from the initial stage through to completion and reporting. You will Learn the key principles and practices of conducting an effective QMS audit in line with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19011 “Guidelines for auditing management systems”.

          PREREQUISITES

          Those attending this course are expected to have knowledge of the following:

          • Process approach based Quality Management Systems
          • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
          • Quality management principles and concepts
          • The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction
          • The structure, content and requirements of ISO 9001 and its commonly used quality management terms and definitions
          • The fundamental concepts of a quality management system and the seven quality management principles of ISO 9000

          This knowledge can be gained through:

          • Attending a CQI and IRCA certified training ISO 9001 Foundation course or recognised equivalent
          • Previous experience and existing knowledge
          • Self education

          As well as a good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and the key principles of a QMS, it would help if you have attended an internal or lead auditor course or have experience with conducting internal or supplier audits.

          Through a series of workshops and role plays, delegates are exposed to a wide variety of situations to enable them to apply and practice their skills in every phase of the audit process, from Opening Meeting to Final Report. One central case study builds throughout the course to demonstrate how both customer and supplier objectives can be achieved and the course concludes with an examination on the final day. This training course applies equally to service and manufacturing sectors.
